Middle school outreach ensemble

MSOE (Middle School Outreach Ensemble) invites middle school band and orchestra students from around the Northern Colorado area to come participate in a band and orchestra program run by the CSU Music Education students. Each week, students come to CSU and participate in 1 hour of sectionals and 1 hour of a full ensemble rehearsal. I have had the privilege of teaching the trombones/euphoniums in 2019 and the tubas/euphoniums in 2020. Each week, teaching artists create a lesson plan and are observed by guest teachers. These guest teachers have years of experience teaching music and it's incredible having the opportunity to receive feedback from them on my teaching on a weekly basis.
